Portraiture
Have you ever heard a parent say “I wish I didn’t have so many pictures of our Children”?
A professional photographer can add so much to your memories. At The Art of Photography we want to help you create a special Family Portrait History. There are so many occasions that make a perfect opportunity for Portraits and the memories captured become more precious as the years go by. What Better Art for your Home, then that of Your Own Family!
Life gets hectic in our fast past world…but no matter how busy you become, don’t put off some special time each year to make a lasting memory with a treasured Portrait from The Art of Photography.
When Should We Do Portraits?
The possibilities are limitless! Here are just a few examples of “The Perfect Time” for a Portrait of your Family.
Capture the Precious Moments of Your Child’s Life
Children under 1 year can be done every 3 months, but I recommend at least a Session right after birth, around 6 months and at 1 year. Every year thereafter will capture your Child as they learn and explore their world.
After school starts, capture a special moment every 2-3 years or whenever your Child is involved in new activities they love, and after each “Graduation”…kindergarten, 5th grade, 8th grade and of course, Senior Year from High School. (view more info)

After the birth of each Child, do a new Family Portrait to commemorate the event and let your child know how important their arrival is to you. A Family Portrait on the wall is a reminder everyday to your Family of the love and commitment you have together. This is especially true whenever there are major changes within a Family, such as a death or divorce, a new baby or a marriage. (more)
